Q: Mark Russell Bell

A: And we’re back, everybody. Again, welcome to “Mysteries of the Mind.” Welcome to our special guest, Mark Russell Bell, at about twenty-seven minutes before the top of the hour. Mark, let’s go on because this gets more fascinating the more you get into it.
Q: Well there were just so many different things that I was experiencing. (“FIKE”) For — on the television, for example, there was that going on. I literally could not watch television. And then once I was talking to my friend Marie who did — (“THE MONEY”) the bank did agree to give back her money after she had met with them and said, ‘Well, look, no one else has my card. How could this have happened?’ Anyway, she never really did get the full story. They did say that they had been having that problem but she never did really get — find out much about that. But I said, “Marie, what do you think? Do you think I should have a pseudonym or not?” (“I MEAN”) Anyway, so this was something that we discussed. And then she called me one morning and she said she’d been crossing Sunset Boulevard and she’d heard a voice say, “MARK RUSSELL BELL.” And she had looked down a few seconds later and saw a (“IKE A”) Bell telephone book right there so she had to call. Nothing like this had ever happened to her before and I ended up interviewing her for the book because she did have a near death experience as a child and a few other paranormal experiences. But this was the first time she’d ever had anything like that happen.
A: Wow. And it just came out of the blue, clear as a bell? What — it never said why or what relation it had . . .
Q: Well she remembered that we’d had that conversation about (“ABOUT”) my having a pseudonym or not. (“SO”) So she knew what it meant. She didn’t know —
A: Oh — wait a minute, was this before you added the bell to your name you’re saying?
Q: Yes. This is why I added the name to my —
A: Oh. (“BELL”)
Q: To my name.
A: Oh . . . okay. I didn’t understand that. Oh I got it now.
Q: So —
A: . . . pretty strong message then?
Q: “MARK RUSSELL BELL.” (“IN”) Of course, having researched the Bell Witch case and then (“THIS”) other family named Bell in Oklahoma, I thought, “Well it was an apt name.” And I did research for ancestry but I didn’t find any actual Bells of the last name. I found some people with the first name or middle name of Belle but I didn’t find any last names. At least, not yet. (“I MEAN”) When you start researching your ancestry, it’s remarkable some of the things you can find out. For example, I found out that I had a shared ancestry with Alfred Hitchcock, for example. And now when I think back about (“LIKE”) films like “Rebecca” and even “Marnie” (“WHAT”) because of the flashes of red. When I — I saw that film as a child and it did remind me a lot of my own panic disorder. So — and then Ken Russell, of course, (“WAS ALWAYS” “WAS”) one of my favorite film directors.
A: And it turns out that he was a distant relative of yours?
Q: Well he’s a Russell. There are a lot of them but they all can be traced back to this lineage of the “first race” and I have that lineage chart at the website. And it’s also in the book as well. So — and there are other people too like there’s the Wilson line is there (“AND”) because there are a lot of paranormal people named Wilson and — who else, for example? The Warrens — I have some Warren lineage in my family tree. So, anyway, that was interesting as well. So — I had a men in black experience which was really confusing for me because I couldn’t ima(gine) — I didn’t understand how any clandestine group could have found out about me so quickly. And I — to this day I really haven’t resolved in my mind if this is a physical or mental phenomenon.
A: Well — and I agree with you because you hear the stories. I have known people who have come across the MIBs and I have never been able to figure out — government group? Is it an extraterrestrial group? Is it a group that almost has the ability of coming in and out of this dimension? I’m not sure, Mark.
Q: Well in my case — let me tell you what happened in my case. There were a few indications that I was being monitored. For example, once Marie and I were having lunch. And we came back to my car and there was a little piece of the dashboard dangling off. And I thought, “Oh my goodness, maybe they — there was a bug put in it.” And I was seeing these very (“LIKE”) black vans, which was unusual in my Echo Park area. And — anyway, I just felt (“LIKE”) something was going on. And then one day — (“AND PLUS I”) well I . . . thought , “Well, listen, if they’re going to bug me, I’m going to play interesting music for them.” So one day I was playing, let’s see — I’m trying to remember what — anyway, for example, there was a Phillip Glass songs album and I first played the first song on the album which dealt with a hum in the room. And I thought, “Well if they’re monitoring me, they might’ve heard this hum.” And then I — there was another song called “Open The Kingdom.” And I think that’s what really freaked them out because when I — I think when I was playing that — I also played Enigma (“THE SAME”) on the same trip. But this — I think it was a red sports car started following me. I mean chasing me. (“VERY”) I was going very quickly and it was speeding up. And I looked and there was a black guy and a white guy, dark sunglasses, crewcuts. I mean dark suits. (“AA NN”) I was on my way to my brother’s house because I was returning something from the patio that I thought had been an owl that had transformed into a parrot, (“I MEAN”) just to give you some idea of the many things that were going on at the time. And this — (“AN I”) so I — he was at the time living in the Hyperion (I meant Franklin) Hills section of L.A. And I knew of a turn-off onto his street which was right (in the vicinity) where Walt Disney had his first studio, I might add. And I — so I was going to turn into this street and lose them because they didn’t know I was going to make this sharp turn. Well the traffic didn’t really cooperate so I had to sort of jam on my breaks — well it was — they did too (in the other lane) and I ended up making the left hand turn. I was just being very nonchalant — (“I” “I”) was tryin(g) — I tried brushing my hair to make them think that I didn’t notice them.
A: (laughs) Yeah.
Q: And — so I dropped by the house and then I went by the market. And as I was at the market. Well first there was a materialization. (“DDLL”) The manager was saying, “Who left these logs of firewood?” (“RIGHT IN THE”) right at the cashier. And I’m thinking, (“O”) “It wasn’t me.” But, anyway, and so one of the men came running into the store. He saw me and he immediately went to the telephone and started having a conversation on the phone without putting any coins in or anything. I mean it was just ridiculous.
A: Now do you think, Mark, that they were government people, extraterrestrials or who?
Q: Well if I had to guess I would say they were government people.
A: Yeah, because . . .
Q: And because — well — when I came back from Ada — I had a friend whose father had done some kind of secret work in the Oklahoma area. He was from Ok(lahoma) — he was actually my assistant at Paramount. And he said (“YOU KNOW”) just before I had gone there that, you know, his father could never talk about what he did. And I said, “Well it was probably UFOs.” (“AND HE” “DD”) By the way, he (the father) died (“OF UN”) — unexplained condition — physical condition much like John Bell did in the original Bell Witch case. But — so I sort of tried to find out information from him. And I remember him telling me, ‘Well maybe everyone who comes from that house or Ada is monitored.’ I mean people were — (“YOU KNOW” “THI[S]”) I don’t know exactly what was going on. I still to this day don’t know what was going on. But, see, af(ter) — see, I was (“BR”) I realized that this Mighael Entity was communicating (with) me (“TO OTR”) from other people’s subconscious minds. Sometimes they would say things — for example, I remember my twin brother Michael who’s the most materialistic person you know — he’s an identical twin and I’m the spiritual one and he’s definitely the material one. And he was telling me — (“WID”) I mentioned something about reincarnation and he said, “Well if you do it right this time you won’t have to have another reincarnation.” And I said, “Michael, what did you just say?” Because it was so unlike him. And he didn’t even think that he’d said it. So —
A: ‘. . . got to be kidding.’
Q: No.
A: It just came out of his mouth?
Q: Exactly. In fact, doesn’t most of the things that we say in our interaction with other people just come out of our mouths? But (“SO”) my mom — when I was talking to my mom she said — she told me that I had to finish the book in about a week. So (or “SO”) I freaked. I thought well maybe this was MIGHAEL telling me through her that I had to finish the book in a week. (“SO”) Anyway, I was trying — staying up late. My brother was very concerned with me. And then I had a very eerie experience where I started telling people who they were the reincarnation of. I was (“IKE”) — I was in this heightened state of awareness and I felt very warmth and I — it was a very — it was an altered state. And I was — I told my friend Marie that she was the reincarnation of the Virgin Mary and my friend — my photographer for the book, Timothy, that he was the reincarnation of Merlin. And Fiona was the reincarnation of Morgana Le Fay. It turns out she’s probably the reincarnation of somebody else but metaphorically this was a very apt comparison. But after doing this, there was one occasion when I was talking on the phone with my brother and I — I had felt the Entity leave my body or my consciousness. It’s very hard to explain. (“BUT I”) There was all this warmth and euphoria one moment and then I felt like the Spirit leave my body and then it was a very, cold, dark — I found myself in my cold, dark, dingy apartment without this wonderful warmth and creativity.
A: He was actually in your body, though?
Q: Well I don’t know how to explain it but I (“WAS HYSTER”) — I really was hysterical because I thought, “Oh my God, I — (“I”) this is possession, you know? I mean this is (“[THI]S IS”) — this is a case of possession. (“NO”) And so I called up my twin brother and I said, “Michael,”— you know—”the possession’s over. I’m — (“YOU KNOW I’M”) I want to die.” (“I”) I basically said “I want to die” because I was worried that this entity could come back into me at any time and do whatever it wanted. I mean it could — who knows? I’ve seen so many horror movies. (“LET”) You know, you have these ridiculous expectations. Of course, everything I had in my experience said this was a very Loving Force. For example, one — one early morning I woke up like all of a (sudden) — I don’t usually — I wasn’t getting up early at the time but it was still dark and I woke up like at 6:30 one morning and (“I[T]”) I was very clear — (“I MEAN I WAS”) had complete clarity. I wasn’t tired at all so I started reading a poem book and the first thing I saw was “Good morning, darling.” So I was getting — (“I”) was getting very — it was a very loving (“NO”) Entity obviously. And I (“SO[ON]” “SOON”) put aside that whole family curse nonsense. Even though there was some question in my mind that I might’ve experienced sexual abuse as a child because often in these poltergeist cases the focus does have (“LIKE”) an interlude of sexual abuse. And I still haven’t really made a determination about that to this day because I have no memories of it but my parents sure acted guilty, you know, in terms of — there was a certain uncle and (“I — I”) I don’t really have any memory so I have no idea (“IF IT”) if it happened or not. (“I”) I don’t think it did? It just so happened that his name was Bob and there’s something definitely going on with people name — with variations of the word ‘R — O — B’ in their name. It’s something that I’ve become aware of doing my research. So, anyway, it was a very — I felt (“ALL”) like there was this wonderful Love and I thought, “Well I’ll document it in my books so then other people can realize that they have this wonderful Angel named Mighael, this Christ Consciousness, in their lives too.” And ever(y) — (“N”) for example — okay, after I told my brother that I wanted to die, he basically was very concerned with me. For me. And I actually ended up — he said that I needed to take a rest and I needed just rest and sun myself and swim in the pool and have a nice weekend away. Well he found a mental institution (“NO”) for me, basically, where they could — (“N”) and they were monitoring me there too so, again, I have to — you have to wonder if maybe there was something going on there too because I remember one time when somebody was asking me about the Entity. I answered quite honestly. He said, “Well what’s going on?” And I said (“WELL”) — because, you know, when I went there I was in — I was (in) a very, very excited state. I had all this experience — one of my experiences was it was always very warm in my apartment (condo) even (“E”) when it should be cooler or cold — other places, it was unusually warm. I once went to my attorney’s apartment and it was a cold night. (“AND HIS”) His apartment had the air conditioner on. And he was saying — I said, “What on Earth is going on? I mean it’s so — it’s hot in here. It’s bloomy.” And, of course, I remembered other poltergeist cases where it was (described as feeling) bloomy as well. (“SO”) By the time I arrived at this — I thought it was going to be a resort but it was a mental clinic. So I signed myself in and I ended up being there like I think five days. And they observed me. (“AND THEN”) The other people around me there were channeling and doing insane things. I wish I had a video tape of it all because it was just unbelieva(ble) — I mean pe(ople) — (“I”) all of a sudden (“AA”) one of the people (X “WITH”) who has — with mental disabilities would have utter clarity and start talking about different crops on different planets. I mean it was just ridiculous. So — so I we(nt) — I (have) —
A: Maybe they weren’t as crazy as they initially appeared.
Q: Well this one lady — I think she had — her body shook and she really wasn’t in control but, you know, it was really har(d) — (“I — I”) again, I was still trying to make sense of what (X) was going on. And I think the key moment happened when there was a young woman there and (“SHE”) she knew that she was a channel. (“AND I’D”) And, again, I don’t know if she was a plant — a government plant (“O”), you know, in terms of ‘I don’t know where this information came from’ but she basically was channel(ing) — no, I don’t think she was. I think she was legitimate because she channeled to me: “REJECTED” — ‘I’VE BEEN REJECTED IN THE GAME OF LOVE.’ (“AND”) And I was so flabbergasted that she channeled this that I said, “Well it takes two to reject.” And I stormed off. And then another person reached over to me — (“THIS”) this woman who (“WHO”) didn’t really have a clear mind and she said — she hugged me and she said, “YOU’RE A GENIUS.” So I felt like there was this disincarnate Entity going in and out of people. For example, on the morning news show. They had this woman (“IN”) in a helicopter. She started doing the “Wayne’s World” hand signals (“E” “NO”) meaning ‘segue.’ I mean — (“IT” “THIS IS” “WHAT”) what was going on. And so, anyway, I somehow convinced the Entity that I did intend to be honest about this. I wasn’t on any ego trip — at least I didn’t think I was. I ended up on being quite an ego trip as you can imagine. And (“IT’S BEEN”) it’s been pretty good ever since then. Once in a while, (“I”) I see synchronistic messages (“THAT”) or sort of warnings. I remember I was getting really bitchy with people and I would — sure enough, I would see different, like, stickers on cars saying “Super Bitch” or “Bitch (“YOU KNOW”) From Hell” or whatever.
A: (laughs)
Q: Exa(ctly) — you know.
A: As a message for you?
Q: Yeah, and I do see more than my fair share of pest control vehicles I might add. Even though I don’t really think its me personally even though you never know. So — and once in a while I’ll get a little indication that I’ve done — like I’ve sent some Email that isn’t quite correct or something. But I remember one night I was thinking, “Well, Mighael, you don’t really love me. You’re just using me. Everything’s just a game to you.” I mean I was really angry at being in this predicament. And that was the only other time that I really felt the Consciousness sort of creep back into my mind for a moment. And I felt this overwhelming sadness. And then it left me and I thought, “Oh, well that was a nice, sweet visit.” And so it’s been pretty much love and acceptance and forgiveness. Forgiveness being so important ever since that time. (“I’M AA”) I’m married to (“N”) this Angel named Mighael. I mean it’s —
A: Yeah, that’s what I was going to say. And I want to ask you about him because, as you said, Mark Russell Bell, that this Michael, this Angel seems to get around a lot and not only in this present day and age but over all the ages. So I want to get back and I want to talk a little bit about that. Q: In fact I — I have about 700 tapes so I’ve been interviewing so many people here in Los Angeles — and I can’t believe some of the stories I’ve heard there. I mean it’s just been amazing.
A: Well before we get into those, I want to ask you something. Now you said right before the break and I didn’t have time to stop you. You said that you are married to this entity, this Michael?
Q: Right.
A: Explain that, if you would.
Q: Well it’s sort of like being married to God in terms of having — it’s like a marriage. I mean I get various messages in different ways. (“I MEAN”) Again, the Angel Mighael has been equated with the burning bush and the ten commandments and what-have-you. And, actually, I was channeling commandments. I was getting, for example, there was one day when I was thinking — I was listening to the radio. Something about crime. And I, basically, was thinking about ‘An Eye For An Eye.’ Because it’s so misunderstood. Basically it’s saying that the punishment should fit the crime. And someone who commits murder, for example — their life really is pretty much destroyed because it’s been so glamorized by the movies that (“THEY”) when it’s done, it’s done without thinking in terms of the guilt and without the understanding that (“WE ALL”) we all are linked to this Superconscious Mind so you don’t get away with it. And (“SO”) there was this — (“I HAD”) I had reached the conclusion of ‘An Eye For An Eye.’ And, then, that night, I was laying on my bed and an ant — like a scout ant — bit me beneath an eye. And —
A: Hit you or bit you?
Q: Bit me beneath an eye. It hurt. And then I remembered (“IKE”) two nights previously, before (“I HAD”) was thinking about ‘An Eye For An Eye,’ it had happened again. (“SO”) I mean this is (“LIKE”) — maybe once when I was a child I might’ve had an ant bite me but to have it — to have ants bite me below each different eye before and after I had this ‘An Eye For An Eye’ thought, was just — (“AMA[Z]” “MAY”) and there were other ones too like ‘Love Is The Only (True) Religion’ and a lot of pop songs talk about giving back more than you take so that seems to be like a new — one of the new commandments. Or actually I like to call them Spiritual Advice because nobody takes the word commandment seriously.

And he didn’t even think that he’d said it. So —
A: ‘. . . got to be kidding.’
Q: No.
A: It just came out of his mouth?
Q: Exactly. In fact, doesn’t most of the things that we say in our interaction with other people just come out of our mouths? But (“SO”) my mom — when I was talking to my mom she said — she told me that I had to finish the book in about a week. So (or “SO”) I freaked. I thought well maybe this was MIGHAEL telling me through her that I had to finish the book in a week. (“SO”) Anyway, I was trying — staying up late. My brother was very concerned with me. And then I had a very eerie experience where I started telling people who they were the reincarnation of. I was (“IKE”) — I was in this heightened state of awareness and I felt very warmth and I — it was a very — it was an altered state. And I was — I told my friend Marie that she was the reincarnation of the Virgin Mary and my friend — my photographer for the book, Timothy, that he was the reincarnation of Merlin. And Fiona was the reincarnation of Morgana Le Fay. It turns out she’s probably the reincarnation of somebody else but metaphorically this was a very apt comparison. But after doing this, there was one occasion when I was talking on the phone with my brother and I — I had felt the Entity leave my body or my consciousness. It’s very hard to explain. (“BUT I”) There was all this warmth and euphoria one moment and then I felt like the Spirit leave my body and then it was a very, cold, dark — I found myself in my cold, dark, dingy apartment without this wonderful warmth and creativity.
A: He was actually in your body, though?
Q: Well I don’t know how to explain it but I (“WAS HYSTER”) — I really was hysterical because I thought, “Oh my God, I — (“I”) this is possession, you know? I mean this is (“[THI]S IS”) — this is a case of possession. (“NO”) And so I called up my twin brother and I said, “Michael,”— you know—”the possession’s over. I’m — (“YOU KNOW I’M”) I want to die.” (“I”) I basically said “I want to die” because I was worried that this entity could come back into me at any time and do whatever it wanted. I mean it could — who knows? I’ve seen so many horror movies. (“LET”) You know, you have these ridiculous expectations. Of course, everything I had in my experience said this was a very Loving Force. For example, one — one early morning I woke up like all of a (sudden) — I don’t usually — I wasn’t getting up early at the time but it was still dark and I woke up like at 6:30 one morning and (“I[T]”) I was very clear — (“I MEAN I WAS”) had complete clarity. I wasn’t tired at all so I started reading a poem book and the first thing I saw was “Good morning, darling.” So I was getting — (“I”) was getting very — it was a very loving (“NO”) Entity obviously. And I (“SO[ON]” “SOON”) put aside that whole family curse nonsense. Even though there was some question in my mind that I might’ve experienced sexual abuse as a child because often in these poltergeist cases the focus does have (“LIKE”) an interlude of sexual abuse. And I still haven’t really made a determination about that to this day because I have no memories of it but my parents sure acted guilty, you know, in terms of — there was a certain uncle and (“I — I”) I don’t really have any memory so I have no idea (“IF IT”) if it happened or not. (“I”) I don’t think it did? It just so happened that his name was Bob and there’s something definitely going on with people name — with variations of the word ‘R — O — B’ in their name. It’s something that I’ve become aware of doing my research. So, anyway, it was a very — I felt (“ALL”) like there was this wonderful Love and I thought, “Well I’ll document it in my books so then other people can realize that they have this wonderful Angel named Mighael, this Christ Consciousness, in their lives too.” And ever(y) — (“N”) for example — okay, after I told my brother that I wanted to die, he basically was very concerned with me. For me. And I actually ended up — he said that I needed to take a rest and I needed just rest and sun myself and swim in the pool and have a nice weekend away. Well he found a mental institution (“NO”) for me, basically, where they could — (“N”) and they were monitoring me there too so, again, I have to — you have to wonder if maybe there was something going on there too because I remember one time when somebody was asking me about the Entity. I answered quite honestly. He said, “Well what’s going on?” And I said (“WELL”) — because, you know, when I went there I was in — I was (in) a very, very excited state. I had all this experience — one of my experiences was it was always very warm in my apartment (condo) even (“E”) when it should be cooler or cold — other places, it was unusually warm. I once went to my attorney’s apartment and it was a cold night. (“AND HIS”) His apartment had the air conditioner on. And he was saying — I said, “What on Earth is going on? I mean it’s so — it’s hot in here. It’s bloomy.” And, of course, I remembered other poltergeist cases where it was (described as feeling) bloomy as well. (“SO”) By the time I arrived at this — I thought it was going to be a resort but it was a mental clinic. So I signed myself in and I ended up being there like I think five days. And they observed me. (“AND THEN”) The other people around me there were channeling and doing insane things. I wish I had a video tape of it all because it was just unbelieva(ble) — I mean pe(ople) — (“I”) all of a sudden (“AA”) one of the people (X “WITH”) who has — with mental disabilities would have utter clarity and start talking about different crops on different planets. I mean it was just ridiculous. So — so I we(nt) — I (have) —
A: Maybe they weren’t as crazy as they initially appeared.
Q: Well this one lady — I think she had — her body shook and she really wasn’t in control but, you know, it was really har(d) — (“I — I”) again, I was still trying to make sense of what (X) was going on. And I think the key moment happened when there was a young woman there and (“SHE”) she knew that she was a channel. (“AND I’D”) And, again, I don’t know if she was a plant — a government plant (“O”), you know, in terms of ‘I don’t know where this information came from’ but she basically was channel(ing) — no, I don’t think she was. I think she was legitimate because she channeled to me: “REJECTED” — ‘I’VE BEEN REJECTED IN THE GAME OF LOVE.’ (“AND”) And I was so flabbergasted that she channeled this that I said, “Well it takes two to reject.” And I stormed off. And then another person reached over to me — (“THIS”) this woman who (“WHO”) didn’t really have a clear mind and she said — she hugged me and she said, “YOU’RE A GENIUS.” So I felt like there was this disincarnate Entity going in and out of people. For example, on the morning news show. They had this woman (“IN”) in a helicopter. She started doing the “Wayne’s World” hand signals (“E” “NO”) meaning ‘segue.’ I mean — (“IT” “THIS IS” “WHAT”) what was going on. And so, anyway, I somehow convinced the Entity that I did intend to be honest about this. I wasn’t on any ego trip — at least I didn’t think I was. I ended up on being quite an ego trip as you can imagine. And (“IT’S BEEN”) it’s been pretty good ever since then. Once in a while, (“I”) I see synchronistic messages (“THAT”) or sort of warnings. I remember I was getting really bitchy with people and I would — sure enough, I would see different, like, stickers on cars saying “Super Bitch” or “Bitch (“YOU KNOW”) From Hell” or whatever.
A: (laughs)
Q: Exa(ctly) — you know.
A: As a message for you?
Q: Yeah, and I do see more than my fair share of pest control vehicles I might add. Even though I don’t really think its me personally even though you never know. So — and once in a while I’ll get a little indication that I’ve done — like I’ve sent some Email that isn’t quite correct or something. But I remember one night I was thinking, “Well, Mighael, you don’t really love me. You’re just using me. Everything’s just a game to you.” I mean I was really angry at being in this predicament. And that was the only other time that I really felt the Consciousness sort of creep back into my mind for a moment. And I felt this overwhelming sadness. And then it left me and I thought, “Oh, well that was a nice, sweet visit.” And so it’s been pretty much love and acceptance and forgiveness. Forgiveness being so important ever since that time. (“I’M AA”) I’m married to (“N”) this Angel named Mighael. I mean it’s —
A: Yeah, that’s what I was going to say. And I want to ask you about him because, as you said, Mark Russell Bell, that this Michael, this Angel seems to get around a lot and not only in this present day and age but over all the ages. So I want to get back and I want to talk a little bit about that. Q: Right.
A: Okay.
Q: In fact I — I have about 700 tapes so I’ve been interviewing so many people here in Los Angeles — and I can’t believe some of the stories I’ve heard there. I mean it’s just been amazing.
A: Well before we get into those, I want to ask you something. Now you said right before the break and I didn’t have time to stop you. You said that you are married to this entity, this Michael?
Q: Right.
A: Explain that, if you would.
Q: Well it’s sort of like being married to God in terms of having — it’s like a marriage. I mean I get various messages in different ways. (“I MEAN”) Again, the Angel Mighael has been equated with the burning bush and the ten commandments and what-have-you. And, actually, I was channeling commandments. I was getting, for example, there was one day when I was thinking — I was listening to the radio. Something about crime. And I, basically, was thinking about ‘An Eye For An Eye.’ Because it’s so misunderstood. Basically it’s saying that the punishment should fit the crime. And someone who commits murder, for example — their life really is pretty much destroyed because it’s been so glamorized by the movies that (“THEY”) when it’s done, it’s done without thinking in terms of the guilt and without the understanding that (“WE ALL”) we all are linked to this Superconscious Mind so you don’t get away with it. And (“SO”) there was this — (“I HAD”) I had reached the conclusion of ‘An Eye For An Eye.’ And, then, that night, I was laying on my bed and an ant — like a scout ant — bit me beneath an eye. And —
A: Hit you or bit you?
Q: Bit me beneath an eye. It hurt. And then I remembered (“IKE”) two nights previously, before (“I HAD”) was thinking about ‘An Eye For An Eye,’ it had happened again. (“SO”) I mean this is (“LIKE”) — maybe once when I was a child I might’ve had an ant bite me but to have it — to have ants bite me below each different eye before and after I had this ‘An Eye For An Eye’ thought, was just — (“AMA[Z]” “MAY”) and there were other ones too like ‘Love Is The Only (True) Religion’ and a lot of pop songs talk about giving back more than you take so that seems to be like a new — one of the new commandments. Or actually I like to call them Spiritual Advice because nobody takes the word commandment seriously.
